NMDC Steel Limited (NSL) has officially released a notification for engagement of professionals across various disciplines on a contractual basis. A total of 934 vacancies are available under the Employment Notification No. 02/2025 dated April 24, 2025.
As mentioned in the official notification, candidates selected for these contractual posts will receive a monthly consolidated pay ranging from Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 1,70,000 based on the post and experience. The selection process involves document verification followed by walk-in interviews at different centers.
Eligible candidates who fulfill all criteria can apply online through the NMDC Steel Limited website from April 24, 2025, to May 8, 2025. Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualifications: Candidates must possess relevant qualifications such as ITI, Diploma, Graduate, Engineering Degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Metallurgy, Civil, Chemical, Instrumentation, Computer Science), MBA, M.Sc, MCA, CA/ICMA depending on the applied post.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit varies between 50 years to 28 years based on post levels as on 31 March 2025. Relaxation in upper age limit will be provided as per Government norms.
Other Requirements: Relevant post-qualification work experience is mandatory. Preference will be given to candidates having experience in Integrated Steel Plants. Specific additional skills such as SAP ERP handling, instrumentation maintenance, cyber security, and product testing are desirable for some roles.

Application Fee:
The application fee for the recruitment process is structured according to categories: For General/OBC/EWS candidates the application fee is Rs. 500. However SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-servicemen candidates are exempted.
Payment must be made online via SBI Collect during the application submission process.
Selection Process:
Selection will be done on the basis of document verification followed by a walk-in interview conducted at Raipur, Bhubaneswar, Rourkela, Bokaro, Durgapur, Hospet, and Jharsuguda centers. Final selection will be based on the candidate’s performance in the interview.
