NMDC Opens Applications for 995 Field Attendant, Electrician, and Other Trainee Posts

NMDC Limited has officially released a notification for the recruitment of 995 vacancies for various trainee positions. These posts are available across three project locations: Kirandul, Bacheli, and Donimalai complexes. The application process is entirely online and begins on 25 May 2025.

As per the official Employment Notification No. 03/2025, candidates can apply for posts such as Field Attendant, Maintenance Assistant, Blaster, Electrician, Technician, HEM Operator, and others. The maximum age limit is 30 years for all posts, with applicable relaxations for reserved categories. The stipend during training and the pay scale after regularization are clearly defined for each position.

Eligible candidates must submit their applications through the official NMDC portal before 14 June 2025. The selection process will consist of an OMR/CBT-based exam followed by a second-level test (Physical Ability or Trade Test). Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualifications:
Field Attendant requires middle pass or ITI. Maintenance Assistant roles require ITI in relevant trades. Technician, HEM, and Operator roles need three-year diplomas. QCA posts require B.Sc. in Chemistry/Geology with one-year experience.

Age Limit:
The minimum age limit is 18 years and maximum is 30 years as on 14 June 2025. Relaxations apply: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC (NCL), and applicable for PwBD, Ex-servicemen, and departmental candidates.

Other Requirements:
All qualifications must be from recognized institutions. Candidates with higher qualifications than those prescribed are not eligible. Some posts require a heavy vehicle license or specific certifications.

Candidates are required to pay an application fee of ₹150. SC, ST, PwBD, Ex-servicemen, and departmental candidates are exempted.
