NITM Consultant & Project Consultant Recruitment 2025: Apply by 12th February

ICMR–National Institute of Traditional Medicine (NITM) has released the official notification inviting applications from interested and eligible candidates for Consultant (Administration/Finance) and Project Consultant (Scientific–Non-Medical) posts. NITM has invited applications from candidates fulfilling the required criteria to fill up the following vacant positions:

Pay Scale / Salary

• Consultant (Administration/Finance): Rs. 1,00,000 – 1,80,000 per month.
• Project Consultant (Scientific–Non-Medical): Rs. 80,000 per month.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications

• Consultant (Administration/Finance):
  • Postgraduate degree in Management, Law, Public Administration, Economics, or related subjects.
  • OR Retired government employees with a Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of relevant experience.
• Project Consultant (Scientific–Non-Medical):
  • BAMS and MD in Ayurveda or equivalent qualification.
  • OR Retired government employees with the required qualifications and at least 10 years of experience.

Age Limit

• The minimum age for engagement is 40 years, and the maximum age is 70 years.

Experience

• Consultant (Administration/Finance): At least 10 years of experience in Administration, Audit, or Legal fields.
• Project Consultant (Scientific–Non-Medical): At least 10 years of post-qualification experience in a relevant scientific field.

Selection Process

The selection process for NITM Recruitment 2025 consists of the following stages:

• Written Test (if more than 30 candidates apply):
  • The test will consist of 50 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) related to the job responsibilities.
  • Qualifying marks: SC/ST – 35%, UR/OBC/EWS – 40%.
• Interview:
  • Top 10 candidates for Consultant (Administration/Finance) and top 5 candidates for Project Consultant (Scientific–Non-Medical) will be called for an interview.
