Apply for the Junior Project Fellow position at NIT Srinagar in a JK STIC funded supercapacitor research project. Last date to submit the application is 09 January 2026.

The National Institute of Technology Srinagar has released a notification for the recruitment of one Junior Project Fellow. The position is under the JK STIC funded project titled A Study on the Zn-ion Hybrid Supercapacitor as a Low-Cost Energy Storage Device.

Eligibility Criteria of NIT Srinagar Vacancies


Educational Qualification

  • B.Tech / B.E with a minimum of 60% or CGPA 6.5 /10 in Metallurgical and Material Engineering/Electronics and Communication Engineering, with M.Tech in Materials Science/Nanoscience and Technology.
  • Practical experience in Hybrid Supercapacitor analysis using a potentiostat is essential

Nature and Period of Post

The appointment will be for the project duration. Extension will depend on performance and fund availability.

Fellowship

The fellowship amount is Rs. 20,000 per month. It is consolidated. No accommodation will be provided.
