NHPC Eligibility Criteria 2025:
The educational qualification and age limit is given below:
Educational Qualification:
1) Assistant Rajbhasha Officer – Master’s Degree in Hindi with English as elective OR Master’s Degree in English with Hindi as elective, with 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD). Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience required.
2) Junior Engineer (Civil/Electrical/Mechanical/E&C) – Full-time 3-year Diploma in relevant branch with 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD). Higher technical qualifications without Diploma not allowed.
3) Senior Accountant – Inter CA or Inter CMA Pass.
4) Supervisor (IT) – Graduate with DOEACC ‘A’ Level OR Diploma in Computer Science/IT OR BCA/B.Sc. (IT) with 60% marks.
5) Hindi Translator – Master’s Degree in Hindi/English with one as elective at degree level and one-year post-qualification experience in translation/teaching/research.
Age Limit: 18 to 30 years (as on 1st October 2025). Age relaxation applicable as per rules.

Selected candidates will be placed in the pay scale of Rs. 29,600 – 1,19,500 (IDA) for Junior Engineers, Supervisor, and Sr. Accountant posts, Rs. 40,000 – 1,40,000 (IDA) for Assistant Rajbhasha Officer, and Rs. 27,000 – 1,05,000 (IDA) for Hindi Translator. In addition, allowances such as DA, HRA, PRP, Cafeteria, Medical Facility, PF, Pension, and Gratuity will be provided.
