NEEPCO is offering the following posts:

Pay Scale / Salary

• Pay Scale (E-2 Grade): ₹ 50,000 – 1,60,000 (IDA)
• Selected candidates will receive additional benefits such as Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Cafeteria Allowance, Provident Fund, and other allowances as per company rules.
• The minimum monthly emoluments (including Basic Pay, DA, and allowances) are approximately ₹ 1,00,000.

Eligibility Criteria for NEEPCO Vacancies

Educational Qualification

• Executive Trainee (Electrical): Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology (Electrical/ Mechanical/ Civil) with at least 65% marks (55% for SC/ST). Must have qualified in GATE 2024 (Electrical Engineering).
  
• Executive Trainee (Finance): Must have passed the final exam of CA/ CMA and hold Membership Certificate.
  
• Executive Trainee (Human Resources): Graduate with a full-time MBA or Post-Graduate Degree/Diploma (2 years) in HR/ Personnel Management (65% marks, 55% for SC/ST). Must have appeared in UGC-NET 2024 (June cycle) in the relevant subject and secured at least 40% marks in both papers.
  
• Executive Trainee (Geology): M.Sc./ M.Tech in Applied Geology with at least 65% marks (55% for SC). Must have qualified GATE 2024 in Geology/Geophysics.
  
• Executive Trainee (Law): Graduate with LLB (3-year full-time course) plus 2 years’ practice in court or relevant experience. Must have qualified CLAT 2025 (PG Courses).
  
• Executive Trainee (IT): BE/ B.Tech in Computer Science/ IT/ Electronics (or MCA) with 65% marks (55% for SC), and qualified GATE 2024 (CS).
  
• Assistant Company Secretary (Trainee): Graduate and a qualified Company Secretary holding valid membership from ICSI. A degree in Law is an added advantage.

Age Limit (as of 1 January 2025)

• Minimum Age: 30 years
• Maximum Age: 35 years (SC/ST)
• Certain relaxations apply for OBC (NCL), PwBD, EWS, and other categories as per government norms.

Service Agreement Bond

• Selected candidates must sign a bond to serve the company for a minimum of 5 years (including training)
• Bond amount is ₹ 2,50,000 for General/EWS/OBC (NCL) and ₹1,25,000 for SC/ST.

Placement

After completion of one-year training, candidates may be posted anywhere in India, as per the needs of the corporation’s projects/offices.

Selection Process

• Shortlisting based on valid scores in GATE 2024/ UGC-NET 2024 (June cycle)/ CLAT 2025 (PG Courses)/ CA/ CMA/ CS.
• Scrutiny of applications and invitation to Personal Interview for shortlisted candidates.
• Final merit list is prepared on the basis of interview and document verification.
