Mineral Exploration & Consultancy Limited (MECL), a Mini-Ratna-I CPSE under the Ministry of Mines, Government of India, has issued an official notification inviting applications from eligible candidates for engagement as Young Professionals on a Fixed Term Engagement (FTE) Contractual Basis. There are 27 vacancies available across various disciplines.
As mentioned in the official notification dated 16 May 2025, the maximum age limit for these posts is 35 years. Selected candidates will receive a consolidated monthly remuneration of ₹60,000. The contractual term will be initially for one year and may be extended up to three years depending on project needs and individual performance.

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualifications: Candidates must hold a valid degree in their respective disciplines. Accepted qualifications include M.Sc/M.Tech in Geology or Geophysics, BE/B.Tech or MCA for IT, Civil, and Electrical Engineering, MBA/PGDM for Marketing and Finance roles, CA/ICWA for Finance, and MBBS for Medical Doctor. Degrees must be full-time and recognized by UGC/AICTE as applicable. ODL degrees are not permissible except for certain management programs.
Age Limit: The maximum age limit is 35 years for the UR category. Relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per Government of India norms.
Experience: All applicants must have a minimum of two years post-qualification experience relevant to the field of the applied post.

Application Fee:
