Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT) Bhopal has released the official notification inviting applications for the post of Assistant Professor. A total of 20 vacancies are open across various departments such as Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, Humanities, Architecture, and more.
As per the official notification dated 11 March 2025, these vacancies include both Grade I and Grade II Assistant Professor positions. The recruitment process will follow the selection norms laid out by the Ministry of Education. Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹ 70,900 to ₹ 1,01,500. The upper age limit for new applicants is 28 years.

Vacancy Details:
This recruitment drive aims to fill 20 posts of Assistant Professor in various specializations. The total vacancies are distributed as follows: UR – 10, OBC – 6, ST – 2, EWS – 2. Additionally, 2 posts are reserved for PwD candidates.

Educational Qualification: Candidates applying for Grade I must have a PhD in the relevant field and first-class marks in all previous degrees. For Grade II, candidates must have a Master’s degree in the relevant specialization along with first-class marks and one year of professional experience (for Architecture only).
Age Limit: The maximum age limit for new applicants is 28 years. Relaxation in age is applicable as per Government of India rules.
Other Requirements: Candidates must meet the department-wise UG/PG qualification requirements listed in the official advertisement. Specializations include Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, Environmental Engineering, Architecture, Bioengineering, Humanities, and Product Design.

Application Fee:
Candidates belonging to the Unreserved/OBC/EWS category are required to pay an application fee of ₹1,500. Women, SC, ST, and PwD candidates are exempted from the fee.
Selection Process:
The selection of candidates will be based on credit point shortlisting, presentation, and personal interaction/interview. Minimum qualifying marks are set for each category and stage of assessment. The final selection will be based on merit and recommendations of the selection committee.
