• Master’s Degree in Demography, Population Studies, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or related fields with at least 55% marks.
• For non-demography backgrounds: Minimum 1-year course in Demography/Population Studies at a recognized institution/university.
• Ph.D. in relevant fields.

Experience Required

• A minimum of 8 years of teaching/research experience in an academic/research position equivalent to Assistant Professor.
• A good academic record, with at least 7 publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals.
• Total Academic/Research Score of 75 as per UGC Guidelines (July 2018).
