The University of Kashmir, Hazratbal Srinagar, has released Advertisement Notice No. 02 of 2026 inviting online applications from domiciles of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. The notification is for the posts of Assistant Registrar and Assistant Controller of Examinations in Pay Level 10 (Rs. 56100–177500).
There are a total of 6 vacancies. These posts are separate from the posts advertised earlier in April 2023. Applicants must ensure they meet all eligibility conditions including educational qualification and age limit as on 01 January 2026 before applying.

Eligibility Criteria for Assistant Registrar / Assistant Controller of Examinations Posts
Educational Qualification
Good academic record with a Master’s Degree securing at least 55% marks or equivalent grade ‘B’ on a 7-point scale.
Age Limit (as on 01.01.2026)

Application Fee
The application fee is Rs. 1200 for both open and reserved categories.
Persons with benchmark disabilities (PwD) are exempted from payment of fee.

In-service candidates must also submit hard copies through proper channel by the due date.
Selection Process
