JKSSB Driver Recruitment 2025, 107 Driver Posts in Transport, R&D and Agricultural Departments

Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board has issued Advertisement No. 09 of 2025 announcing applications for 107 Driver posts. These positions are available across Transport, Public Works and Agriculture departments. Eligible candidates can submit their forms online within the given dates. The last date for submission of online application forms in respect of the UT/Divisional/District Cadre posts of Drivers in various Indenting Department(s) advertised vide Notification No. 09 of 2025 Dated: 27.09.2025, shall be 18.11.2025, instead of 11.11.2025.

As per the notification, candidates must meet the required educational and licence-related conditions. The pay scale for the posts falls under Level 2, offering a monthly salary between ₹19,900 and ₹63,200. The selection will include a driving test followed by a written examination, and only candidates who qualify in the driving test can appear for the written stage.

Vacancy Details:
This drive aims to fill 107 vacancies. The available positions are Driver under the Transport Department with 62 posts, Public Works (R&B) with 27 posts and Agriculture Production with 18 posts.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must have passed Matric as the minimum educational qualification, though some departments may accept 10+2 as mentioned in the advertisement. A valid HGV or PSV licence is required.
