Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission has issued an important notice regarding the recruitment of Prosecuting Officer (G) posts in the Home Department. A total of 65 vacancies have been notified for eligible law graduates.
As per the latest notice dated 26-12-2025, the last date for submitting the online application form has been extended up to 31-12-2025. However, the cut-off date for determination of eligibility shall remain the same as 14-12-2025.
The recruitment process will be completed through Preliminary Examination, Main Examination and Personality Test. Candidates should carefully read the eligibility and other conditions before applying.

Selection Process
The selection process will include the following stages:
- Preliminary Examination

The preliminary exam will consist of two objective papers of 400 marks. The main exam will be descriptive and will be followed by a personality test.
