The High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh has extended the last date for the submission of online applications from eligible candidates for 22 vacancies under different Gazetted and Non-Gazetted categories including Reader, Senior Scale Stenographer, Junior Scale Stenographer, Translator, Data Entry Operator, Computer Operator, Developer, and Compositor to April 20, 2025. Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website before the deadline.

Vacancy Details of High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh Notification 2025:
The High Court is inviting applications for various posts. The detailed vacancy distribution is given below:
1) Reader
Total Vacancies: 04
Educational Qualification: Law Graduate (Professional) from a recognized university and recognized by the Bar Council of India.
2) Senior Scale Stenographer
Total Vacancies: 02
Educational Qualification: Graduation with a Diploma in Stenography, six-month certificate course in Computer Applications.
3. Junior Scale Stenographer
Total Vacancies: 01
Educational Qualification: Graduation with a Diploma in Stenography, six-month certificate course in Computer Applications.
4) Translator
Total Vacancies: 07
Educational Qualification: B.A. with Urdu as a subject and LL.B from a recognized university. Proficiency in computer typing (30 words per minute).
5) Data Entry Operator

Educational Qualification: Graduation with a Diploma in Computer Applications or BCA.
6) Computer Operator
Total Vacancies: 04
Educational Qualification: Graduation with a Diploma in Computer Applications or BCA.

Educational Qualification: B.E/B.Tech/M.Sc/MCA in Computer Science/IT with at least 3 years of experience in software development.

Educational Qualification: Graduation with a one-year certificate/diploma in Computer Applications from a recognized institute. Candidates with BCA/B.Tech in Computer Science/IT do not require additional diploma.
Age Limit: The Age Limit (as of 01.01.2025) is given as follows:-

Domicile Criteria: Candidates must be domiciles of Jammu and Kashmir (as per S.O. 166 dated 18.05.2020) or residents of Ladakh for at least 15 years before applying.
