National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) has issued a fresh notification for the engagement of Cyber Security Resource Persons on a contractual basis. The recruitment is for deployment in the Department of IT, Civil Secretariat, J&K across Srinagar and Jammu locations.
The recruitment drive includes Junior Resource Persons and Resource Persons (L1 and L2) who will be engaged purely on contract. Interested candidates must ensure they meet the eligibility criteria and submit their completed applications by the due date.
As per the official notification, the maximum consolidated salary offered is ₹34,090 per month. The last date to submit applications by hand or via email is 2 June 2025. Applicants must also ensure they attach all required documents and proof of payment of the non-refundable application fee.
Vacancy Details: This recruitment drive aims to fill the following vacancies on a contract basis:
1) Junior Resource Person: 11 Posts in Srinagar, 4 Posts in Jammu
2) Resource Person: 4 Posts in Srinagar, 1 Post in Jammu
Eligibility Criteria of Cyber Security Resource Person Posts: Applicants interested in applying for these posts must ensure they meet the following criteria as per the official notification.
Educational Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in the IT/Cyber Security domain. Detailed eligibility to be checked from the official website before applying.
Age Limit: Age criteria are as per NIELIT recruitment norms. Candidates are advised to verify the specific limits before applying.
Other Requirements: Candidates must ensure that their name, date of birth, and father’s name match across certificates. Candidates must submit self-attested copies of all supporting documents including academic records, Aadhar card, PAN card, domicile, and fee payment proof.

Selection Process:
Selection will be based on shortlisting followed by personal interviews conducted at NIELIT Srinagar/Jammu Centres. List of shortlisted candidates and interview schedules will be published on the official website.
