IWAI Opens Internship Opportunities for UG, PG, and Research Scholars Across India
The Inland Waterways Authority of India has released an official notification for its Internship Programme for the year 2025-26. Applications are invited from eligible undergraduate, postgraduate, and research scholar candidates to work in various functional areas of IWAI. There are a total of 25 vacancies under the current internship programme.
According to the notification issued on 20 March 2025, interns will be placed either at the IWAI Headquarters located in Noida or at different Regional Offices across India. Selected candidates will be offered a monthly stipend of ₹10,000 or ₹20,000, depending on their level of education. The internship will cover disciplines such as Marine Engineering, Hydrography, Traffic and Cargo Handling, and River Information Systems.

Eligibility Criteria:

To apply for the UG internship, candidates must have secured a minimum of 75% marks in their 12th board examination. For PG internships, applicants should have scored at least 60% marks in graduation, while research scholars should hold a minimum of 60% marks in post-graduation. The age limit for all categories has not been specified in the notification.

Application Fee:
