Islamic University of Science & Technology (IUST), Awantipora, has issued an advertisement inviting eligible candidates for a walk-in interview for one Research Associate-I post. The position is under the BRNS-funded project titled “Novel Nuclear Structure Studies to investigate the nuclear properties at the extremes of Spin, Isospin and Excitation Energy,” in the Department of Physics.
As per the official notice dated 14 July 2025, the position is purely temporary and will be co-terminus with the project. Candidates selected for the post will receive a monthly remuneration of Rs. 58,000/- plus HRA. Only Ph.D. holders in Physics are eligible to apply, with preference given to those with research experience in theoretical nuclear physics.
