Islamic University of Science & Technology, Kashmir has released an official notification inviting applications for the position of Research Assistant. The post is under a project funded by the J&K Science Technology & Innovation Council titled “Smart High Density Apple Orchards Monitoring Using IoT and Machine Learning”. This is a temporary position and will be co-terminus with the project.
As per the official advertisement, the initial appointment will be for a period of six months, which may be extended based on performance and fund availability. The candidate will be paid a monthly consolidated amount of ₹20,000. Shortlisted applicants will be called for an interview, with the date and time to be displayed on the university website.

Eligibility Criteria of Research Assistant Post:
Candidates must possess a B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering or an equivalent degree with a minimum of 60% marks. Preference will be given to candidates with M.Tech in CSE or an equivalent degree, and those with research experience in IoT or Machine Learning. GATE-qualified candidates will be preferred.
