Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST), Awantipora has invited applications for the post of Research Assistant (RA) in the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering. The position is available under the project titled “Experimental Investigation and Implementation of Power Control and Transfer Techniques for Photovoltaic based System,” funded by the J&K Science Technology & Innovation Council, Department of Science and Technology, Government of Jammu and Kashmir.
As per the official notification, there is one temporary post of Research Assistant available with a monthly consolidated salary of Rs. 20,000. The initial engagement will be for six months and may be extended depending on performance and fund availability. The position is purely project-based and co-terminus with the project.
Eligible candidates with B.Tech in Electronics & Communication or Electrical Engineering with at least 60% marks can apply. Preference will be given to candidates with GATE or Master’s qualifications in the relevant field.
