The Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST), Kashmir has announced a vacancy for the position of Junior Technical Assistant in its Centre for Artificial Intelligence. The position is purely on a contractual basis and open to domiciles of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir. Applications are to be submitted online, followed by submission of hard copies with documents at the IUST campus.
As per the notification, candidates selected for the post will be offered a consolidated monthly remuneration of Rs. 29,200. The position requires candidates with strong technical knowledge in computer networks, servers, and IT infrastructure, with preference given to those with prior experience in High-Performance Computing (HPC) administration.

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must hold a B.Tech in CSE, ECE, Electrical, IT or MCA / M.Sc. IT with at least 55% marks. A minimum of two years of experience in installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of computer networks, servers, and IT infrastructure is required, preferably in an HPC or data center environment. Candidates must hold either a CCNA Networking Certification or Linux System Administration Certification. Preference will be given to candidates with HPC administration experience.

After successful submission of the online form, applicants must submit the hard copy of the form with self-attested documents to the Centre for Artificial Intelligence, IUST Campus AB-XI (CAI Office) before the last date.

Selection Process:
