The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has officially released the notification for the recruitment of 63 Scientist/Engineer SC posts. The vacancies are available across different ISRO Centres including Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Sriharikota, and Thiruvananthapuram.
As per the notification Advt No. ISRO:ICRB:01(EMC):2025 dated 29 April 2025, candidates must hold a B.E./B.Tech degree with a minimum of 65% marks in the relevant disciplines. The final selection will be based on valid GATE 2024 or GATE 2025 scores followed by an interview. Selected candidates will be appointed at Level 10 of the Pay Matrix with an initial basic pay of ₹56,100 per month.

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualifications:
i) Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ (Electronics): B.E./B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering with minimum 65% marks or CGPA 6.84/10 along with a valid GATE score in EC paper.
ii) Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ (Mechanical): B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 65% marks or CGPA 6.84/10 along with a valid GATE score in ME paper.
iii) Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ (Computer Science): B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering with minimum 65% marks or CGPA 6.84/10 along with a valid GATE score in CS paper.
Age Limit:
Maximum age limit is 28 years as on 19 May 2025. Age Relaxation applicable as per Government norms for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates.

The selection of candidates will be on the basis of valid GATE 2024/2025 scores followed by an interview. Final merit will be prepared by giving 50% weightage to GATE scores and 50% weightage to interview performance.
