Indian Oil Corporation Limited has released the official notification inviting applications from Graduate Engineers for Grade A Engineers and Officers posts. The recruitment is for disciplines including Chemical, Electrical, and Instrumentation. A total of vacancies are announced under advertisement number IOCL/CO-HR/RECTT/2025/01.
As per the notification, candidates must have a full time BE or B.Tech in relevant disciplines with minimum marks as prescribed. The maximum age limit for General category is 26 years as on 1 July 2025, with relaxations for reserved categories. Selected candidates will be offered pay in the scale of 50,000 to 1,60,000 with initial basic pay of 50,000. The total CTC is approximately 17.7 LPA including allowances and performance related pay.
The selection process includes a Computer Based Test followed by Group Discussion, Group Task and Personal Interview. Candidates meeting eligibility can apply online on the official IOCL website from 5 September 2025 till 21 September 2025 up to 5:00 PM. Admit cards will be released on 17 October 2025 and the CBT is scheduled on 31 October 2025.

Vacancy Details:

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must hold a full time BE or B.Tech degree in the relevant stream. For General, EWS and OBC category, minimum marks required are 65 percent. For SC, ST and PwBD candidates, the minimum requirement is 55 percent. Maximum age is 26 years for General and EWS candidates, 29 years for OBC, and 31 years for SC and ST. Additional relaxations apply for PwBD, Ex-Servicemen and other categories as per rules. Only full time regular courses are acceptable. Degrees through part time, distance or correspondence will not be considered.

Application Fee:
General, OBC and EWS candidates need to pay 500 plus GST as application fee. SC, ST and PwBD candidates are exempted.
Selection Process:
The selection will be based on a Computer Based Test, Group Discussion, Group Task and Personal Interview. CBT will have 100 questions of 150 minutes with negative marking of 0.25 per wrong answer. Merit list will be prepared considering CBT for 85 percent weightage, GD and GT for 5 percent and PI for 10 percent.
