Indian Oil Corporation Limited has published the detailed notification inviting online applications from Diploma Engineers for Junior Engineer and Officer positions. The notification was released under Advertisement No. IOCL/CO-HR/RECTT/2025/02 dated 12th September 2025. Candidates will be recruited in disciplines such as Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation at Grade E0 level.
As mentioned in the notification, applicants will be placed in the pay scale of ₹30,000 to ₹1,20,000. The selection procedure will consist of a Computer Based Test, followed by Group Discussion, Group Task, and Personal Interview. The upper age limit is 26 years for general category candidates as on 1st July 2025, with relaxations available for reserved categories.

Vacancy Details:

Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible, candidates must hold a three-year full-time regular Diploma in Engineering in the respective discipline with at least 65 percent marks for General, OBC, and EWS, and 55 percent marks for SC, ST, and PwBD. Higher qualifications such as BE, B.Tech, MBA, or CA are not accepted. The maximum age for General category is 26 years, with relaxations up to 31 years for SC/ST and 29 years for OBC. PwBD candidates get additional relaxations as per rules.
How to Apply:
Applicants can submit their forms only through the official IOCL portal. They need to upload scanned documents, a recent photograph, signature, and pay the applicable fee online. Only one application per candidate will be accepted.
Application Fee:
The application fee is ₹400 plus applicable GST for General, OBC, and EWS candidates. SC, ST, and PwBD candidates are exempted from paying the fee. Payment is to be made through debit card, credit card, net banking, UPI, or wallets.
Selection Process:
Selection will be conducted in multiple stages. First, a Computer Based Test will be held for 150 minutes with 100 questions covering domain knowledge, aptitude, reasoning, and English. Candidates who qualify will be shortlisted for Group Discussion, Group Task, and Personal Interview. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of weighted scores from all stages.
