The Indian Army has officially released the Agniveer Recruitment Rally notifications for the year 2025–26 under the Agnipath Scheme through Army Recruiting Offices (ARO) Jammu and ARO Srinagar. Online applications are invited from unmarried male candidates who are domiciled in the respective districts of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.

As per the notification, online registration is mandatory and will remain open till 10 April 2025. Candidates must appear for the Online Common Entrance Examination (CEE) in June 2025 (tentatively), followed by physical and medical tests in Phase II. Selection will be strictly based on merit.

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates interested in applying can check the eligibility criteria, age limit, application fee, and other essential details below.

Age Limit:
Candidates born between 01 October 2004 and 01 April 2008 (both days inclusive) are eligible.
Age: 17½ to 21 years

Educational Qualification:
General Duty: 10th pass with 45% aggregate and 33% in each subject.
Technical: 12th pass with Physics, Chemistry, Maths, and English (50% aggregate and 40% in each subject) OR ITI/Diploma in relevant fields.
Clerk/SKT: 12th pass with 60% aggregate and 50% in each subject. 50% in English and Maths/Accounts/Book Keeping in Class 12 mandatory.
Tradesmen (10th): Simple 10th pass with 33% in each subject.
Tradesmen (8th): Simple 8th pass with 33% in each subject

Physical Standards:
Height: 162–163 cm (depending on category and region)
Chest: 77 cm (with 5 cm expansion)
Weight: As per height and age chart

Only unmarried candidates are eligible and must remain unmarried during the 4-year engagement period.

How to Apply:
Applicants who meet the eligibility criteria are encouraged to apply through the official Indian Army recruitment portal.

The application fee for the online examination is ₹250 per category. Payment is to be made through debit/credit cards, net banking, or UPI at the HDFC payment gateway after form submission.


Selection Process:
The selection of candidates will be done in two phases:

  • Phase I – Online Common Entrance Exam (CEE):
    MCQ-based CBT in 13 languages
  • 50/100 questions depending on category
  • Normalization of marks
  • Typing Test for Clerk/SKT category
  • Phase II – Recruitment Rally (Physical and Medical Tests):
    1.6 km run, pull-ups, zig-zag balance, and ditch jump
  • Physical measurements as per standards
  • Adaptability test
  • Medical examination by Army Medical Team

Final selection will be based on overall merit and verification of all original documents.
