IIT Jammu Project Staff Vacancy 2025, Apply for Junior Research Fellow Post
IIT Jammu has invited online applications from the Indian nationals interested in the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work on the R&D project titled “Organocatalytic Asymmetric Synthesis of Biaryl Bridged Seven-Membered Carbo- and Hetero-cyclic Scaffolds” sanctioned by Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), New Delhi.
The selected candidate will receive a consolidated monthly salary of ₹37,000 plus House Rent Allowance (HRA), as per DST norms. The revised emolument is subject to approval by the funding agency. The project is based in the Department of Chemistry at IIT Jammu, located at Jagti, NH-44, PO Nagrota, Jammu & Kashmir.

Name of Post: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Eligibility: The Qualification and age limit details are given as follows:
Qualification: M.Sc. or equivalent degree in Chemistry. Additionally, applicants must have qualified in national-level eligibility tests such as GATE /UGC NET (including lectureship) or any equivalent exam conducted by central government departments, including DST, DBT, DAE, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, and others.
Age Limit: The Upper age limit is 28 years for JRF post.
