Indian Institute of Technology Jammu (IIT Jammu) has released an official notification inviting applications for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under a BRNS-funded research project. The project is titled “Influence of inventory on the steady state performance of two phase natural circulation systems” (Project Code: RP-100313), and the recruitment is being conducted through Advertisement No. IITJMU/R&C/ RP-100313/A-116 dated 02 June 2025.
This position is available under the Department of Mechanical Engineering and is initially offered for a period of one year, which may be extended based on performance. Applicants with strong programming skills and a background in thermal and fluid engineering are preferred.

Educational Qualifications
Essential: B.Tech. or M.Tech. in Mechanical, Chemical, Aerospace, Automobile Engineering or related disciplines.
Desirable: GATE qualification, good programming skills in FORTRAN / C / C++ / MATLAB / PYTHON, domain knowledge in thermodynamics, fluid mechanics and heat transfer.
