ICAR-Indian Institute of Soil & Water Conservation (IISWC), Dehradun, has released a notification inviting applications for Young Professional-II (YP-II) and Junior Research Fellow (JRF) positions under a DoLR, MoRD-funded project. These roles are temporary and project-based, located at IISWC headquarters and regional centers.

As mentioned in the notification, the selection will be based on shortlisting and interviews for YP-II and direct walk-in interviews for the JRF post. The monthly remuneration for selected candidates ranges from ₹37,000 to ₹42,000. Vacancy Details:
ICAR-IISWC is inviting applications to fill the following positions under the ongoing project:

Eligibility Criteria of Young Professional-II and JRF Posts:
Candidates applying for the YP-II and JRF posts must ensure they meet the required qualifications and age criteria as per the details below:

i) Young Professional-II (YP-II):
Educational Qualification: M.Sc. in Soil Science, Agronomy, Environmental Science, Forestry, Agricultural Economics; or Master’s in Engineering/Technology in relevant disciplines.
Age Limit: 21 to 45 years (relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC).

ii) Junior Research Fellow (JRF):
Educational Qualification: M.Sc. in relevant subjects or B.Tech./B.E. in Agricultural Engineering with specialization in related areas.
Age Limit: 35 years for men and 40 years for women.

Candidates with experience in soil and water conservation and watershed management will be preferred.

Young Professional-II (YP-II): Applications with the latest photograph along with self-attested copies of the
relevant certificates are to be submitted through speed post on or before 28.03.2025 to Director, ICAR-Indian Institute of Soil & Water Conservation 218 Kaulagarh Road, Dehradun – 248195, Uttarakhand/Email to director.iiswc@icar.gov.in.

Junior Research Fellow (JRF): The JRF Posts are filled through a Walk-in Interview. The Walk-in-interview will be held on 02.04.2025 at 10:00 a.m. at ICAR-Indian Institute of Soil & Water Conservation (IISWC), Dehradun.

Required Documents: Original certificates for verification and self-attested photocopies.

Selection Process:
For Young Professional-II (YP-II), candidates will be shortlisted based on qualifications and called for an interview. Final selection will be based on merit and suitability. For Junior Research Fellow (JRF), selection will be made through a direct walk-in interview scheduled on 2nd April 2025.
