The Indian Air Force has started the online registration process for AFCAT 2026. As per the announcement published on 17 November 2025, the application link is now active on the official AFCAT portal. Candidates who want to apply for Air Force Common Admission Test can find the direct link to apply through the official website of IAF AFCAT at afcat.edcil.co.in. This admission test will fill a total of 328 vacancies across Flying Branch, Ground Duty Technical and Ground Duty Non-Technical branches.
According to the notification, the last date to submit the AFCAT 2026 online application is 14 December 2025. The written examination is scheduled to be held on 31 January 2026. Candidates must ensure they meet the specified age criteria before applying for the exam.

Educational Qualifications

Age Limit
Flying Branch and NCC Special Entry: 20 to 24 years as on 1 January 2027.
Candidates with valid Commercial Pilot License: Upper age limit relaxable up to 26 years.
Ground Duty (Technical & Non-Technical): 20 to 26 years as on 1 January 2027.
Other Requirements
