Hindustan Copper Limited Apprenticeship 2025 – Apply Online for 209 Posts

HCL invites online applications for 209 Trade Apprentice posts in various trades. Apply by 02 June 2025 through hindustancopper.com portal.

Hindustan Copper Limited (HCL) has released an official notification for the engagement of 209 Trade Apprentices in various trades at Khetri Copper Complex. The recruitment is being conducted under the Apprenticeship Act 1961. Eligible Indian citizens can apply online for these positions through the HCL official website from 19 May 2025.

The trades included in this apprenticeship program cover mining, mechanical, electrical, electronics, drafting, office operations, and more. The duration of training varies for each trade, ranging from one to three years. Selection will be based on merit calculated from marks in 10th and ITI, depending on the trade.

Interested candidates are advised to register first at www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in and then apply on the HCL portal by 02 June 2025. Candidates must ensure eligibility and submit only one application. Applications with incomplete or incorrect information will be rejected.

Eligibility Criteria of Trade Apprentice Posts:

Candidates applying for Sl. No. 1 to 3 (Mate, Blaster, Front Office Assistant) must have passed 10th/Matric under the 10+2 system.
For all other trades (Sl. No. 4 to 15), candidates must have passed ITI in the respective trade from NCVT/SCVT-recognized institutes.

Applicants who passed ITI before 2023 must submit an affidavit declaring they have not undergone apprenticeship earlier nor taken employment. Candidates with higher qualifications like Diploma, B.E., B.A., B.Sc., or B.Com will not be considered.

The age limit is 18 to 30 years as of 01.05.2025.
Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC.

Application Process for HCL Apprenticeship 2025:
Candidates must first register on the Apprenticeship India portal (www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in) to generate a registration number. Then, they must apply online on www.hindustancopper.com using the ‘Career’ section.

Selection Process: Selection will be based on merit.
For trades requiring ITI, merit is calculated as 70% weightage to 10th marks and 30% to ITI marks.
For trades without ITI requirement, merit is based 100% on 10th marks.
Additional 10 bonus marks will be given to dependents of existing HCL/KCC employees.
In case of a tie, preference will be given to the candidate with higher age.
