Hindustan Copper Limited (HCL), Taloja Copper Project, Maharashtra has released an official notification for the recruitment of Trade Apprentices under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961. Eligible Indian citizens can apply for training in trades like Fitter, Plumber, Electrician, and Welder (Gas & Electric). These positions are purely for apprenticeship training and will not lead to regular employment in HCL.
Candidates must ensure that they meet the eligibility conditions as of 1 May 2025. The last date for submitting the offline application form is 15 June 2025. Applications must be sent by Speed Post or Registered Post to the designated address.

This recruitment drive offers training positions under four trades.
Post Name: Trade Apprentice
Total No. of Posts: 10
Trade-wise Distribution:
– Fitter: 6 posts (UR-5, OBC-1)
– Plumber: 1 post (UR)
– Electrician: 2 posts (UR)
– Welder (Gas & Electric): 1 post (UR)
Training Duration: 1 year for each trade
Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualifications:
– For Fitter, Plumber, and Electrician: 10th pass under 10+2 system or equivalent
– For Welder: 8th pass under 10+2 system or equivalent
– All candidates must have passed ITI in the relevant trade
Age Limit (as on 01 May 2025):
– Maximum: 21 years
– Relaxation: SC/ST – 5 years, OBC – 3 years
Other Eligibility:
– Candidates with higher professional qualifications like Diploma or B.E./B.Tech are not eligible
– Candidates with higher academic degrees like B.A., B.Sc., B.Com will not get any weightage
– ITI passed candidates from 2023 or earlier must submit an affidavit declaring they have not undergone apprenticeship or taken employment elsewhere

ii) Fill the form neatly and attach the following documents:
– Mark sheets, age proof, caste certificate (if applicable)
– Aadhar ID
– ITI certificate
– Proof of registration on www.apprenticeship.gov.in
– Affidavit for candidates who passed ITI before 2023
iii) Send the completed application form by Speed Post/Regd. AD to:

Selection Process:
Selection will be based on a written test.
