Goa Shipyard Limited has released Advertisement No. 07/2025 for Junior Project Executive posts. A total of 30 vacancies are available across Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics and Civil disciplines on a contractual basis for three years, extendable by one more year if required.
As per the official notification, candidates must hold a full-time four-year B.E., B.Tech. or B.Sc. degree in the relevant engineering discipline with at least three years of post-qualification experience. The maximum age limit is 32 years for UR and EWS, 35 years for OBC and 37 years for SC and ST candidates. Relaxation is applicable to PwBD, Ex-Servicemen and apprentices as per government rules.
Applicants selected for these posts will receive a consolidated salary of 45,000 in the first year, 48,000 in the second year, 50,000 in the third year and 55,000 if the contract is extended to the fourth year. The selection will be carried out through a written test, document verification and group discussion or interview.

Eligibility Criteria:
For eligibility, candidates must possess a full-time four-year degree in engineering from a recognised institution. Mechanical applicants can apply with Mechanical, Mechanical and Industrial, Mechanical and Production or Marine Engineering. Electrical applicants can apply with Electrical, Electrical and Electronics, or Electrical and Instrumentation. Electronics applicants must have qualifications in Electronics, Communication, Applied Electronics, Telecommunication, Instrumentation or Control. Civil applicants must have Civil, Structural or related qualifications. Candidates should also have a minimum of three years of relevant work experience.
The upper age limit is fixed at 32 years for UR and EWS, 35 years for OBC and 37 years for SC and ST as on 31 July 2025.

Application Fee
The application fee is 500 for UR, OBC and EWS candidates. SC, ST, PwBD, Ex-Servicemen and GSL apprentices are exempted. The fee must be paid online using SBI e-pay through debit card, credit card or net banking.
Selection Process:
The selection process will be conducted in stages. Candidates must first appear for a written test which will include 25 percent general aptitude and 75 percent subject related questions. Minimum qualifying marks are 40 percent for General and EWS, and 35 percent for SC, ST, PwBD and OBC. Shortlisted candidates will then undergo document verification, followed by a group discussion or interview. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of 85 percent weightage to written test and 15 percent to group discussion or interview.
