Govt. Ayurvedic Medical College, Akhnoor has issued Advertisement Notice No. 10-GAMC of 2025 inviting applications for engagement of Teaching staff on Academic Arrangement Basis under S.O-364 dated 27-11-2020. This hiring is aimed at fulfilling the shortfall raised by the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM), Government of India.
The engagement will be for an initial period of one year, extendable up to a maximum of six years, with extension granted one year at a time based on performance and conduct. The arrangement will continue until a regular selection is made as per recruitment rules, whichever comes earlier, and under no circumstances will it exceed six years.
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the position of Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Samhita & Siddhanta. The last date for submitting the application is 29 August 2025 up to 4:00 PM.

Eligibility:
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Ayurvedic Medicine from a recognized University under the NCISM Act 2020 and a Post Graduate Degree in the concerned subject from an NCISM-recognized institution.
Salary, age, and other terms will be as per S.O-364 of 2020 dated 27-11-2020. Applicants are required to attach self-attested copies of essential documents including educational certificates, registration certificates, domicile certificate, unique teacher code or NTET certificate, experience certificate if any, and an affidavit confirming they are not in active government service.
