Government Dental College & Hospital (GDC&H) Srinagar has issued an official advertisement notice inviting online applications from eligible candidates for the posts of Registrar and Tutor for the year 2026. The recruitment is being conducted under Government Order No. 383-JK(HME) of 2024.
These tenure-based posts are available in different dental specialties. The initial engagement will be for one year, which may be extended on a yearly basis up to a maximum period of three years, subject to satisfactory performance and conduct as certified by the concerned Head of Department.

Eligibility Criteria of GDC Srinagar Vacancies
Candidates must meet the eligibility conditions mentioned below.

Candidates who have appeared in the final MDS examination are also eligible to apply. They must submit the MDS degree or provisional certificate within 21 days from the issuance of the selection list.
Application Fee and Required Documents
The application fee for the Registrar and Tutor posts is Rs. 700. The fee must be deposited in any J&K Bank branch and the receipt should be uploaded during online application.

Terms of Engagement and Selection Guidelines
Selection will be made as per Government Order No. 382-JK(HME) and 383-JK(HME) of 2024. In-service doctors can apply only after obtaining prior permission from the Administrative Department.
Candidates who have already completed their tenure or are currently working as Registrar, Tutor or Senior Resident in any institution within or outside the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir are not eligible to apply. Candidates who were appointed earlier but did not complete their tenure are also not eligible.
Selected candidates must execute an agreement stating that they will not leave the department before completing six months of tenure. If a candidate leaves after six months, one month’s prior notice is mandatory, failing which one month’s salary will not be paid.
