Goa Shipyard Limited has released an official notification inviting applications for 30 posts of Trainee Project Executive in various engineering and finance disciplines. The appointments will be on a contractual basis for two years, which may be extended for one additional year depending on performance and organizational need.
As per the notification, eligible candidates must possess a relevant engineering degree or a finance-related professional qualification. The maximum age limit is 28 years for unreserved candidates. Selection will be through a written test, document verification, group discussion, and interview.

Educational Qualifications:
For Mechanical: Full-time B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc. (Engineering) in Mechanical
For Finance: Graduate AND CA/ICWA or 2-year PG Diploma/PG Degree in Finance
For Naval Architecture: Full-time B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc. (Engineering) in Naval Architecture
For Electrical: Full-time B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc. (Engineering) in Electrical
For Electronics: Full-time B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc. (Engineering) in Electronics
Age Limit:
Maximum age limit as on 28.02.2025 is:
UR/EWS: 28 years
OBC: 31 years
SC/ST: 33 years
Age relaxation for PwBD and other categories will be as per Government of India rules.
Other Requirements:
Apprentices who completed their training in the last 2 years or have completed at least 6 months of training in GSL as on the cutoff date are eligible. One-year relevant experience is mandatory for candidates sponsored by the employment exchange.
How to Apply:

Application Fee:
An application fee of ₹500 must be submitted via Demand Draft drawn in favor of “Goa Shipyard Limited” payable at Vasco-da-Gama, Goa. SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen and GSL Apprentices are exempt from fee payment.
Selection Process:
The selection of candidates will be on the basis of a written test, document verification, group discussion, and interview.
Written Test will include 25% General Aptitude and 75% subject-related questions.
Minimum qualifying marks: 40% for UR/EWS and 35% for SC/ST/PwBD/OBC candidates.
Final selection will be based on 85% weightage to written test and 15% to Group Discussion/Interview.
