Government Medical College Jammu has issued a notice inviting applications for two contractual positions under the DIAMONDs project in the Molecular Oncology Diagnostic Laboratory. The posts announced are Data Entry Operator and Laboratory Technician III, each to be filled on a yearly extendable basis depending on performance and project needs.
As per the notification, these posts carry specific educational criteria and age limits. The upper age limit for the Data Entry Operator post is 40 years, while for the Laboratory Technician III post it is 30 years. The selection process will include assessment of academic merit, qualifications, relevant experience and an interview.

Eligibility Criteria:

Data Entry Operator: Graduation from a recognized board and experience in computer applications with a minimum typing speed of 15000 key depressions per hour. Experience in government, autonomous or PSU sectors is acceptable. The age limit for this post is 40 years.
Laboratory Technician III: B.Sc MLT with one year of experience or B.Sc in Science with MLT recognition and two years of experience in a histopathology laboratory. Desirable experience includes working in R&D related to Molecular Oncology. The age limit for this post is 30 years.
