Government Medical College Baramulla has released the official notification inviting applications from eligible and interested candidates for engagement as Professors, Associate Professors, and Assistant Professors on an academic arrangement basis. These appointments are being made under SO 364 of 2020 and will be valid for one year initially, extendable up to six years, subject to performance and conduct.
As mentioned in the official notification of GMC Baramulla, the maximum age for applicants is 67 years as on the date of application. These posts are open to both domiciles and non-domiciles of Jammu & Kashmir under SO 296 dated 16 May 2024. The appointments are purely academic in nature and will cease once regular selections are made as per recruitment rules.

Eligibility Criteria:

Application Fee:
The application fee is ₹500, which must be submitted as a bank draft pledged to the Chief Accounts Officer, Government Medical College Baramulla and payable at J&K Bank, TP Baramulla.
Selection Process: The selection of candidates will be based on academic merit, teaching experience, and interview. Final engagement is subject to approval by the competent authority and submission of original documents.
