Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL), a Public Sector Enterprise under the Department of Atomic Energy, has released Advertisement No. 07/2025 inviting online applications for the post of Technician (Grade II) across various trades. A total of 45 vacancies are available for candidates possessing ITI with NTC/NAC or equivalent with relevant experience.
These positions are to be filled at ECIL Headquarters in Hyderabad, zonal offices, and project sites across India. The selection will be based on a Computer-Based Test (CBT) followed by a Trade Test. No personal interview will be conducted.

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualifications:
– Matriculation/SSC or equivalent + ITI (NTC) in relevant trade
– With NAC or at least 1-year experience in manufacturing processes
– Trades must match those listed in the advertisement. Combination or dual trades are not eligible.
Age Limit (as on 30 April 2025):
– UR: 27 years
– SC/ST: +5 years
– OBC (NCL): +3 years
– PwBD: +10 years
– J&K Domicile (1980–1989): +5 years
– Ex-Servicemen: Service period + 3 years
– Contract/Fixed Term ECIL Employees: Up to 40 years + category relaxation
Other Requirements:

How to Apply:
Applicants who meet the eligibility criteria must apply online via the ECIL website www.ecil.co.in under the “Careers > Current Job Openings” section. Only one application per candidate is permitted.
Application Fee:
The application fee is ₹750 for General, EWS, and OBC (NCL) candidates. SC, ST, PwBD, Defence Personnel, and ECIL employees are exempt. Fee must be paid via SBI Collect.
Selection Process:
The selection will be based on a two-stage process:
– Computer-Based Test (CBT): 85% weightage
– Trade Test: 15% weightage
CBT will have 100 multiple-choice questions (120 minutes), with 0.25 marks deducted for each wrong answer. Questions will be based on ITI trade syllabus and conducted in English, Hindi, and Telugu.
Shortlisted candidates (1:4 ratio) from CBT will be called for Trade Test at Hyderabad. Final selection is based on document verification and performance in both stages.
