Eligibility Criteria of DRDO ISSA Apprentice Vacancies

Candidates must have passed their qualifying examination in the years 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 or 2025. Candidates who have already completed or are undergoing apprenticeship training are not eligible to apply.
Age Limit
The age limit is governed as per the Apprentices Act, 1961 and related rules. Reservation benefits for SC, ST, OBC and PwD candidates will be applicable as per Government norms.
Selection Process
Selection will be based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination of the respective discipline. A merit list will be prepared category-wise for General, SC, ST, OBC and PwD candidates. Shortlisted candidates will be informed through email only.
Application Procedure
The application form can be downloaded from the DRDO website. Candidates must send the scanned copy of the filled application form along with required documents and certificates in PDF format through email to hrd.issa@gov.in.
Candidates must ensure they are enrolled on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme portal before applying. Applications from non-registered candidates will be rejected.
