DRDO DRDE Gwalior Junior Research Fellow Recruitment 2026, Walk-in Interview for JRF Posts

DRDE Gwalior announces recruitment for Junior Research Fellows in Chemistry and Biological Sciences with valid national fellowships. Walk-in interview at DRDO Gwalior.

Defence Research and Development Establishment (DRDE), Gwalior under Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has released an official notification for the selection of Junior Research Fellows (JRF) with valid fellowships from UGC / CSIR / ICMR / DBT and similar agencies.

The walk-in interview will be conducted at DRDE, Jhansi Road, Gwalior. Interested and eligible Indian nationals with valid JRF fellowships can appear for the interview as per the schedule. Candidates will receive stipend and allowances as per CSIR-UGC guidelines.

Eligibility Criteria


Educational Qualification:

  • First Class M.Sc. Degree in relevant subject stream
  • Must possess valid JRF fellowship from UGC / CSIR / ICMR / DBT etc.
  • Only degree / provisional certificate holders are eligible

Age Limit:

  • Maximum 28 years as on date of interview
  • Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC

Monthly Stipend


  • Monthly stipend as per CSIR-UGC fellowship policy
  • Other allowances applicable as per rules

Tenure


  • Initially JRF for 2 years
  • May be upgraded to SRF for remaining 3 years based on performance

Selection Process


  • Walk-in Interview
  • Document verification at venue
  • Original certificates must be produced
