The Defence Bioengineering and Electromedical Laboratory (DEBEL), a premier laboratory under DRDO, has released a notification for the recruitment of one Research Associate (RA). The selected candidate will work on cutting-edge defense-related research projects for a fellowship tenure of two years.
As per the official update, candidates must hold a PhD in Biomedical or Electronics Engineering. Those who have submitted their PhD thesis are also eligible to apply but will be appointed only after the degree is awarded. Alternatively, candidates with an ME/MTech degree along with three years of relevant experience and at least one SCI journal publication are also eligible.

Educational Qualifications and Experience:
PhD in Biomedical Engineering or Electronics Engineering. Candidates who have submitted their PhD thesis may apply, but appointment will be confirmed only after PhD is awarded OR ME/MTech in Biomedical Engineering or Medical Electronics Engineering with 3 years of experience in research, design, or teaching. One research paper in an SCI journal is mandatory.
Desirable Skills: Knowledge in EEG/EMG device development, bio-signal processing, AI/ML modeling, biomechanical modeling, and bio-statistics.
