Doordarshan Kendra Jammu Vacancies 2025, Apply for Stringers Empanelment
Doordarshan Kendra Jammu has invited applications for the empanelment of Stringers/Cameramen for the Regional News Unit (RNU). The recruitment is open for Poonch, Samba, Kathua, Reasi, and Ramban districts of Jammu Division. Interested applicants must have experience in visual coverage, news gathering, broadcast journalism, and cinematography/videography.
Candidates applying for empanelment must ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria and possess a professional camera with 3CCD. Applications must be submitted before 7th March 2025. However, as per the latest notification, the last date for submission has been extended until 31st March 2025.

Vacancy Details:
Doordarshan Kendra Jammu is empaneling Stringers/Cameramen to provide news-based coverage, short features, and reports on current affairs. The empanelment will cover five districts:
1. Poonch
2. Samba
3. Kathua
4. Reasi
5. Ramban
Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must have qualifications, experience, and expertise in Cinematography, Videography, News Gathering, and Broadcast Journalism. Preference will be given to candidates with professional 3CCD cameras. The content must be submitted in digital format compatible with PAL standards.

Interested candidates must submit their applications in a sealed cover with the superscription “Empanelment of Stringers of DD News” on or before 31st March 2025. Applications should include bio-data, contact details, testimonials, and experience certificates, along with a Demand Draft of ₹1180 (₹1000 + 18% GST) in favor of Drawing & Disbursing Officer, Doordarshan Kendra, Jammu.
Selection Process:
Candidates must bring their cameras, all relevant records, and experience certificates for the interview. The empanelment process will be conducted as per the guidelines issued by the Directorate General of Doordarshan, New Delhi.
