Digital India Corporation (DIC), under the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, Government of India, has released an official notification for the post of Consultant (Techno-Legal) on a contract basis. The recruitment is for the Digital Office of the Data Protection Board under the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act 2023.

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Law or a related field. A Master’s Degree in Law is preferred. Candidates with advanced degrees or certifications in Data Protection, Privacy Law, or Cybersecurity will be given preference.
Applicants should have at least five years of experience in a techno-legal capacity, particularly in the areas of data protection, privacy compliance, or digital transformation. In-depth knowledge of the DPDP Act 2023 and relevant legal provisions is essential. Additional certifications such as CIPP or CIPM would be advantageous.
