The Directorate of Horticulture, Jammu, under the Jammu and Kashmir Competitiveness Improvement in Agriculture & Allied Sectors Project (JKCIP), has released an official advertisement inviting applications for several contractual positions. These appointments will be made under the Individual Consultant Selection (ICS) method. Selected candidates will be placed at the Directorate of Horticulture Jammu to support the project’s implementation in the Jammu Division.

Eligibility Criteria:

Procurement Officer:
Qualification: Graduate in Commerce, Business, Finance, or Management.
Experience: Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience in procurement, including one year in externally aided projects.
Remuneration: ₹0.80 lacs/month
Finance Officer:
Qualification: PG in Commerce/Accounting or Bachelor’s in the same.
Experience: 3 years for PG holders and 5 years for graduates; knowledge of Tally and accounting software required.
Remuneration: ₹0.80 lacs/month
Planning and M&E Officer:
Qualification: PG or Bachelor’s in Agriculture Economics/Statistics.
Experience: 3 years in rural development and impact studies; 5 years for Bachelor’s degree holders.
Remuneration: ₹0.80 lacs/month
Gender & Youth Officer:
Qualification: PG in Social Science/Social Work/Gender Studies
Experience: 3 years relevant experience in gender/youth empowerment projects; knowledge of UT-level policies.
Remuneration: ₹0.80 lacs/month
