Eligibility Criteria of Junior Scientific Assistant Posts:

For JSA (Biology), candidates must hold a Master’s degree in subjects like Zoology, Botany, Anthropology, Biochemistry, Genetics, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Forensic Science, or other relevant disciplines. For JSA (Documents), a Master’s in Physics, Chemistry, Forensic Science, or Computer Science is required, with the relevant subjects studied at the B.Sc. level. For JSA (HRD/QC), candidates should have a Master’s degree in Chemistry, Physics, Botany, Zoology, Psychology, Toxicology, or Molecular Biology. For JSA (Photo), a Science graduate with a Diploma in Photography is needed. For JSA (Physics), candidates must possess a Master’s in Physics or Forensic Science with Physics at the B.Sc. level. For JSA (Cyber Forensics), a Master’s in Computer Science or IT, or B.E./B.Tech in Computer or Electronics streams is mandatory.
Age Limit:
The maximum age limit for all the posts is 27 years as of 23 August 2024. Relaxation in the upper age limit will be given to SC, ST, and OBC candidates as per government rules.
