The Central Power Research Institute (CPRI), an autonomous body under the Ministry of Power, Government of India, has released a notification inviting applications for the post of Research Associate. The engagement is temporary and initially for one year, extendable for another year based on performance. The vacancies are based at the CPRI headquarters in Bangalore.
There are two vacancies for Research Associates under the project titled “Development of Energy Internet Based Next Generation Smart Grid.” One post is in the Power System area and the other in Power Electronics. The selected candidates will receive a consolidated monthly remuneration of ₹30,000.

Educational Qualifications and Experience
Position 1: M.E./M.Tech in Power System with First Class, experience in power system simulation and use of tools like PSCAD, ETAP, MATLAB/Simulink.
Position 2: M.E./M.Tech in Power Electronics with First Class, experience in designing, simulating, fabricating and testing of power electronics systems. Familiarity with simulation tools like MATLAB/Simulink is required.
Age Limit
The maximum age limit is 30 years as on the last date of application submission.
