CISF Head Constable (General Duty) 2025 Notification – 30 Posts for Female Candidates

The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has officially released a notification for the recruitment of female candidates under the sports quota for the post of Head Constable (General Duty) in Hockey discipline. A total of 30 vacancies are available under this quota.

As per the CISF recruitment advertisement, candidates must be female Indian citizens aged between 18 and 23 years, and must have passed 12th with representation at national or international level hockey events. The pay scale offered for the Head Constable post is in Level-4 (Rs.25,500 – Rs.81,100) with admissible allowances as per central government rules.

This recruitment drive aims to fill 30 vacancies of Head Constable (General Duty) exclusively for female candidates under the sports quota for Hockey.

Eligibility Criteria of Head Constable (General Duty) Posts:

Educational Qualification:
Candidates must have passed 12th from a recognized institution with credit of representing State, National, or International level in Hockey. Equivalent qualifications must be backed with a Government of India notification if not from Central/State Boards.

Age Limit:
The age of applicants should be between 18 and 23 years as on 01 August 2025. Candidates should not have been born earlier than 02 August 2002 and later than 01 August 2007.

Age Relaxation:
SC/ST candidates – up to 5 years
OBC – up to 3 years
Departmental candidates with 3 years’ service – up to 45 years (SC/ST) and 40 years (Gen/EWS/OBC)

Other Requirements:
Only female candidates are eligible. Applicants must fulfill sports participation criteria as detailed below.

Participation in Sports Events:
Candidates should fulfill one of the following conditions for eligibility:

  • Represented India at Senior/Junior International tournament
  • Represented State team at National Games/Championship in Senior/Junior level
  • Member of medal winning team in All India Inter-University Championship
  • Gold Medalist in National School Games/Championship
    Note: Candidate must be a playing member of the team.

Selection Process for CISF Head Constable Posts 2025:
The selection of candidates will be done in two stages. The first stage includes Trial Test, Proficiency Test, Physical Standard Test (PST), and Documentation. Candidates shortlisted from this stage will undergo a Medical Examination. Final selection will be based on marks in Proficiency Test and verification of sports achievements.
