CISF Constable 2025 Online Form Out for 1161 Vacancies, 10th Pass Eligible

Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has issued a notification inviting applications for 1161 vacancies under the post of Constable Tradesmen. The recruitment is open for male and female candidates across various trades such as Cook, Barber, Washer-man, Sweeper, and more.

As per the notification, candidates must have passed Matriculation or its equivalent and meet the trade-specific requirements to be eligible. The pay scale for these posts is set at Pay Level-3 (Rs. 21,700–69,100), along with allowances as per Central Government norms. The age limit for applicants is between 18 to 23 years with applicable relaxations.

Eligible candidates can submit their applications online through the official website of CISF between 5th March and 3rd April 2025. Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized board as of the closing date of application. For skilled trades such as Cook, Washer-man, Carpenter, etc., preference will be given to those trained from ITI. For unskilled trades like Sweeper, Matriculation is sufficient.

Age Limit: Applicants should be between 18 to 23 years as on 01 August 2025. Relaxation in age is provided up to 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, and as per rules for other reserved categories.

Other Requirements: Physical standards such as height, chest measurement (for males), and medical fitness are mandatory. PET and PST will be conducted before the written test. Tattoo restrictions and color vision criteria also apply.

Application Fee:
Candidates are required to pay an application fee based on their category. General, OBC, and EWS candidates must pay Rs. 100. SC, ST, female candidates, and Ex-servicemen are exempted from payment.

Selection Process:
Selection will be done on the basis of a Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), Documentation, Trade Test, Written Examination (OMR/CBT mode), and Medical Examination. The written exam will be bilingual and based on General Knowledge, Mathematics, Reasoning, and Language skills.
