Delhi Cantonment Board has released an official notice inviting applications for the engagement of two advocates on retainership. These positions are purely contractual for a period of 12 months, extendable based on performance and requirement. The selected candidates will receive a fixed monthly remuneration of ₹45,000 and will assist in various legal matters of the Board.
As per the notice issued by the Chief Executive Officer of Delhi Cantonment Board, eligible candidates must be registered with the Delhi Bar Council and have at least 3 years of experience in handling litigation matters. The engagement process includes submission of application via email, followed by an in-person interview scheduled at the DCB office.
Interested advocates must submit their application in the prescribed format with all relevant documents by 5 May 2025. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview, to be held on 10 May 2025 at 10:00 AM at the DCB office. Candidates must carry original certificates and photocopies during the interview.

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualifications: Candidate must hold a full-time degree in Law from a recognized university.
Experience: Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in dealing with Civil, Criminal, and Public Premises Act, 1971 cases, and other relevant legal work. Should have drafting and document preparation skills and be fluent in English and Hindi.
Other Requirements: Must be registered with the Delhi State Bar Council and based in Delhi.
