Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has released the official notification inviting applications from eligible retired professionals for the post of Assistant Technical Consultant. A total of 41 posts are open across various trades for engagement at the Heavy Electrical Equipment Plant (HEEP), Haridwar.
As mentioned in the official notification of BHEL, the upper age limit for these posts is 64 years. Candidates selected as Assistant Technical Consultants will receive a monthly remuneration of Rs. 40,000, along with applicable allowances. The selection of applicants will be based on document screening and interaction if required.

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a National Trade Certificate (NTC) in the respective trade.
Age Limit:
Applicants should not be more than 64 years of age as on 01 May 2025. For VRS candidates, engagement is allowed only after attaining 60 years. For Ex-servicemen, the engagement period is up to 65 years or 5 years of service, whichever is earlier.
Other Requirements:
Applicants must be retired non-executives (workmen) from BHEL/PSUs/Central or State Government/Autonomous Bodies with at least 15 years of post-qualification experience in the production of large turbines or generators in the last 20 years.

Selection Process:
The selection of candidates will be on the basis of document scrutiny and interaction conducted by the BHEL Selection Board. Outstation candidates called for interaction will be reimbursed AC-II sleeper train fare or equivalent.
