Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University (BGSBU), Rajouri has released an official notification for the engagement of Temporary Assistant Professors and Teaching Assistants for the academic session 2025-26. The arrangement will be purely temporary with a consolidated monthly salary of Rs. 30,000 for Assistant Professor and Rs. 24,000 for Teaching Assistant.
As per the notification, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria prescribed by UGC. The upper qualification requirements include a Master’s Degree with NET/SET/SLET, while Ph.D. holders will be exempted from NET/SET conditions. For engineering disciplines, M.Tech, M.Arch, or M.E. with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade is required.

The shortlisted applicants will be called for interviews, details of which will be notified later on the university website.

Eligibility Criteria:
For Assistant Professor, candidates must have at least 55% marks at Master’s Degree level in the relevant subject along with NET/SET/SLET. Ph.D. holders as per UGC Regulations will be exempted from the requirement. For Engineering disciplines, candidates must have M.Tech, M.Arch, or M.E. with minimum 60% marks. Candidates not holding Ph.D. or NET/SET may still be considered as Teaching Assistants if required.

Selection Process:
