Armoured Vehicles Nigam Limited (AVNL), a Government of India Enterprise under the Ministry of Defence, has released an official notification inviting applications for several managerial, executive, and technical posts on a fixed tenure basis. The vacancies are available at its Heavy Vehicles Factory, Avadi, Chennai.
As per the AVNL notification dated 22nd March 2025, the positions are to be filled on contract for a period of one year, extendable up to three years based on performance. The upper age limit ranges between 28 to 63 years depending on the post. The monthly salary for selected candidates ranges from ₹22,000 to ₹60,000. Eligibility Criteria:

For all Engineering roles, candidates must have a B.E./B.Tech in the relevant discipline with minimum 60% marks. For HR Consultant post, MBA (HR)/PGDM or equivalent is required. For Finance Consultant, CA/CMA/MBA (Finance) is essential. Russian Translator post requires any degree with Russian as a compulsory subject or a Diploma in Russian language.
The age limit for Design, Production, Planning, Quality, Purchase Engineers is 28 years. For HR and Finance Consultants, the maximum age is 63 years. For Russian Translator, it is 35 years. Age is relaxable as per applicable rules.
